It has been an absolutely nerve-wrecking week with so many events crammed in ,it was virtually impossible to keep up.
You have to pity the New Orleans Mardi Gras organizers...the carnival barely scraped the little air time it got this week. There was just too much at stake elsewhere;especially with the Superbowl XVII and super-duper Tuesday strangling it.There was also the small matter of the Cavaliers' nail-biting victory over the celtics at the allianz arena.
The Super eagles of Nigeria where dumped out of the nations cup by hosts Ghana on superbowl sunday, and it's becoming more and more apparent that the elephants of cote D'Ivoire will run away with their first title.I will be glad to adopt this team after Nigeria's exit since two of Chelsea's favorite sons play in striking positions for the elephants.
The soft-spoken junior senator from illinois can take a lot of encouragement from his national performance on Tuesday's primaries where he enjoyed a good geographic spread with a surprising blow in his opponents backyard in CT.I also expect the former first lady's campaign to claim a moral victory with wins in MA and CA where her opponent had previously picked up major endorsements.
For the other side of the isle, there simply is no arguing away the brutal dominance of the former veteran currently representing AZ in the senate.
